Our school programming allows childcare centres/schools to provide additional services to parents with busy lives. By offering enhanced or extracurricular programming it gives parents comfort in knowing their child got their daily dose of exercise.
Fitness for Kids Kids gives schools the ultimate in flexibility. You choose the day and time for your weekly class, the number of weeks in your session and what age group you’d like to offer the program to. Once we have all the details,Fitness for Kids will draft a custom letter and registration form for you to distribute to your students/parents.
Fitness for Kids Kids also offer “in house” programming, where the school or day care can add us into their daily physical curriculum. Our qualified instructors will come to your school and provide weekly programming to your students.Fitness for Kids will provide the service on an hourly basis, so you can have all the children at your school or centre enjoy the benefits of physical activity.
Our programming follows a 1:12 ratio, with a class assistant where necessary, to ensure that all children get quality time with the instructor.
Our public classes allow parents and caregivers to see and/or participate in their child’s development first hand. Our classes are held throughout the day and in a variety of environments including local community centres and Fitness 4 Kids centers
1 to 2 years: Our 1 to 2 year old members enjoy finding out what happens in their environment with a variety of safe activities and music. Children and parents/teachers participate in 2 to 3 main activities with a new activity added each week
2 to 3 years: Beginning to foster their need for independence, our 2 to 3 year old members participate with limited parent/teacher involvement raising their levels of self confidence.
3 to 5 years: Our 3 to 5 year old members develop remarkable self image and self confidence through the individual success they achieve in our programme with our specialized equipment and more challenging classes.
6 to 8 years: Our 6 to 8 year activities are geared to more specific skill building, challenging the child with adding a new activity each week. Focussing on getting the child “sport ready” we further develop their ball skills.
